It's been a long time since I posted old family photos. I have been organizing photos and have the scanner working again, so I can start again.
Over the next week or two, I will reorganize the website, but keep the old posts as is. I may edit the labels. I don't care for the title heading now, so will change it from "Wachenheim Century" to "A Wachenheim Family Album", recognizing that there are many who have this surname who are not closely related. The URL will remain the same.
The family history is detailed under my name on ancestry.com, as is my DNA. My intent is, for each person whose photos are posted here, is to also have a brief biography - parents, siblings, children, date of birth, date of death, and some life events as I review their histories and my memories.
It's a lot of work to go through the old uploads. My intent will be to start with those furthest back in history, and work forward in time and generations.
These photos are not copyrighted. They are free for downloading, copying, or use as illustration for personal, family, community, ethnic, or regional history or as mementos.
